As September comes to an end, we’re getting ewe out for Octobaaa. Shaun the Sheep is on the loose and we need your help to find him! Can you help track him down? 🐏

We’ve teamed up with outdoor wear brand, TOG24 to create 8 baa-rilliant family-friendly routes across the UK. These playful new FREE walking trails are perfect for the kiddos and anyone young at heart.

Shaun the Sheep Walk in Battersea, London

Distance: 2.5 miles (4.1km) / Time: 2 hour 15 minutes

This walking route starts at Battersea Park railway station and takes you on a nature-rich circular walk through Battersea Park in South London.

Stroll along the River Thames, part of the Thames Path National Trail, through formal gardens, fountains and spot world class sculptures by Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore.

The walking route is step-free on tarmac paths and you can find refreshments and toilets en route.

Shaun the Sheep Walk in Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Distance: 2.8 miles (4.5km) / Time: 2 hours

Start this walk at Harrogate railway station and head through lovely local green spaces to reach the Grade II listed Valley Gardens.

Discover flora species from around the world as well as a baa-rilliant play-park. You can opt to go off-road and explore Pinewoods, and also uncover local artists at the Mercer Gallery or pop into The Royal Pump Room Museum.

The walking route has a step-free option to keep to tarmac surfaces. You can find plenty of places to eat along the way, including local favourite Betty’s, plus public toilets.

Shaun the Sheep Walk in St Albans, Hertfordshire

Distance: 3 miles (4.9km) / Time: 2 hours 30 minutes

The circular walking route starts at St Albans Abbey railway station and quickly whisks you into the extensive Verulamium Park. Here you can find fabulous play areas and the lush Grebe House Wildlife Garden.

You’ll discover Roman ruins including the impressive Hypocaust before enjoying waterside strolls along the River Ver and Verulamium Lake before heading up to historic St Albans Abbey.

There are refreshment options from local businesses as you go as well as toilets en route. The walk has a step-free option but does head off-road onto grass paths.



Shaun the Sheep Walk in Manchester, Greater Manchester

Distance: 2.7 miles (4.3km) / Time: 2 hours

An epic tour around the wondeful Heaton Park. This circular route takes you through plenty of quiet spots away from the crowds with incredible views and plenty of nature connection opportunities.

Dive into the history of the Heaton Hall estate and visit the free Heaton Park Animal Centre and go wild in the adventure playground too! Public toilets and refreshments en route.

Shaun the Sheep Walk in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Distance: 2.4 miles (3.9km) / Time: 2 hours

Step onto this varied nature adventure walk through the Temple Newsam estate just east of Leeds city centre. From waterside walking along the Menagerie Ponds to beautiful flowers in the Walled Garden.

Incredible views, and woodland adventures - this walk has it all. There is the option to explore Home Farm too as well as Temple Newsam House.

You’ll find a cafe and toilets along the way and a great playpark.

Shaun the Sheep Walk in Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne

Distance: 2 miles (3.2km) / Time: 1 hour 15 minutes

Get away from busy urban life on this gem of a walk through Paddy Freemans Park and Jesmond Dene.

Discover Jesmond Dene Old Mill which made flour in the 18th century. Then cross the bridge over the Ouseburn and take a moment to enjoy the waterfall.

Enjoy strolling under the trees and explore Pet’s Corner. There is a cafe and toilets along the way as well as a plyaground and pond. Steps en route.

Shaun the Sheep Walk in Glasgow Green, Glasgow

Distance: 1.9 miles (3.1km) / Time: 1 hour

Explore Glasgow Green on this walking loop around the park in central Glasgow, accessible by bus and train.

Take a waterside wander along the mighty River Clyde to discover St Andrew’s Suspension Bridge. Stroll along the tree-lined avenues to the People’s Palace and The Doulton Fountain.

Step-free on tarmac paths, go give it a whirl!
