East Suffolk Explorer Walking Challenge
East Suffolk are you up for a walking challenge? We sure are! We’ve teamed up with our friends at East Suffolk Council to bring you the East Suffolk Explorer walking challenge.
Walk at least 20 minutes a day, explore East Suffolk on foot and earn badges along the way. The more you walk the more badges (and hidden gems) you unlock!
The challenge begins on 1st August 2023 and runs until 31st August 2023 but you can head over to the app now to sign up for this walking challenge for free.
Here are some walks you can enjoy throughout the challenge.
Bungay Town Trail - A walk around Beautiful Bungay, enjoying the local shops and sites.
Felixstowe Park Loop - The diverse walk through Felixstowe includes shops, beaches, amusements and lots of stunning green spaces.
Wickham Market Town Trail - Enjoy this circular walk around Wickham Market, exploring the famous Deben Mills, independent businesses and octagonal church.
A Short Tour of Beccles Town - Take a short stroll around the town of Beccles. Discover independent shops, whilst learning the history of this area.
Framlingham Town Tour - Explore the market town of Framlingham on this short walk. Learn about its history and its famous inhabitants or do a spot of shopping.
Saxmundham Town Trail - Enjoy this walk around Saxmundham. Discover its engineering and railway history whilst discovering its many independent businesses.
Aldeburgh Town Tour Step-Free - Take a walk along the coast, enjoy some art and explore the many independent shops on Aldeburgh high street.
Leiston Town Trail - A short, accessible stroll around Leiston town. Packed full of history & independent shops.
The Around Halesworth Town Trail - A circular walk around Halesworth in East Suffolk. A beautiful market town steeped in history with excellent independent shops and more.
Southwold Town Trail - Discover the uniquely independent businesses in Southwold and enjoy the stunning views from the coast.
The Lowestoft Town Trail - Get the low-down on Lowestoft on this walk. Learn more about the rich history of the town, whilst also discovering the awesome street art to have come to Lowestoft.

East Suffolk based participants are eligible to win prizes each week. Weekly winners are in with the chance of getting their hands on a Go Jauntly premium subscription, plus a leisure centre voucher. East Suffolk Explorer Competition Terms and Conditions
You must be a resident in East Suffolk to be eligible to win the weekly and end of challenge prizes.
To meet the entirety of the entry requirements you must be an active participant in the East Suffolk Explorer challenge on the Go Jauntly app.
You must submit your true post code as part of the challenge onboarding experience.
For the avoidance of any doubt, you will be automatically enrolled by signing up to the challenge and providing your accurate postcode.
The competition period will run between 1st August 2023 and 31st August 2023.
There will be a randomised prize draw from the top 20% of participants of the East Suffolk Explorer challenge. Each winner will receive x1 Leisure Centre Voucher and x1 Go Jauntly premium subscription. Winners of this weekly prize will be contacted weekly on or around the following dates: 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th August and 6th September.
There will also be one gold and one silver winner. The gold and silver winners will be contacted on or around 1st September.
The gold winner will be picked from a randomised draw of the top 5% participants of the East Suffolk Explorer challenge. The gold winner will receive x1 pair of tickets to the Tour of Britain Hospitality and x1 Go Jauntly Subscription. The Taste of the Tour Britain winner will need to be available on 7th September 2023, as this is the date of the event.

The silver winner will be picked from a randomised draw of the top 15% of participants of the East Suffolk Explorer challenge. The silver winner will receive x1 Fitbit Activity Tracker and x1 Go Jauntly Subscription.
No other prizes will be offered and no cash alternative will be given. Prizes to go to eligible East Suffolk residents only.
We will email the prize winners using the email address used for signing up to Go Jauntly. We will make 3 attempts to contact the winner over a period of 3 days via email. Prize winners agree to have their postal address and/or email address sent to East Suffolk Council for the purpose of this competition only, in order to dispatch your prize.
If we get no response from the winner we will choose another randomly generated name from the eligible contestants.
