Top 3 places to see fireworks in South London

We’ve made your life a little bit easier by summarising the best three places to see fireworks in South London this coming Guy Fawkes night.

1. Blackheath Fireworks

Saturday 5th November this year.  It’s free, there’s a funfair and food stalls, what more could you want?  Display starts at 8pm and whilst it’s free, Lewisham council who fund it, do ask for a donation to help keep it free for everyone.

2. Crystal Palace Fireworks

Saturday 5th November but note that it’s not free and ideally you should prebook as it’s a bit cheaper. They have a kid-friendly show at 7pm and the main family show from 8:30pm but be sure to arrive early to avoid any disappointment.

3. Battersea Park Fireworks

A great night for families and friends, it’s set to music and hosting by Christian Williams, Radio presenter at Virgin Radio UK. You need to pre-book tickets and it looks like they still have some left.  Opens at 6pm, bar and food open 7.30pm and Fireworks from 8pm.

We’ve missed out Southwark Fireworks this time as whilst it’s also free (yay!) all the pre-booked tickets have been allocated already so why not head to the amazing and free Blackheath fireworks instead?
