Partnership Overview

Go Jauntly provides an award-winning, community-based app and platform to promote active travel and leisure walking through our inspiring self-guided tours. Our walking challenges and nature connection tools enhance physical and mental wellbeing and create healthy habits for life.

Our mission is to promote walking and behaviour change through our deeply engaging smartphone 'green prescription’. We hope to make strides on improving wellbeing in cities, improve urban planning and promote active transport solutions to decarbonise transport.

From transport operators to local authorities, and consumer brands to community groups and charities, we love collaborating with organisations to support them in meeting their targets.

Walking is a fantastic way to get around London and Go Jauntly’s new map makes it simpler to find routes, especially if you’re in an area which you’re less familiar with.
— Will Norman, London's Walking and Cycling Commissioner

Our impact in 2023 can be seen through some of the highlights below:

Let’s Collaborate

Let’s do better, together through:

  • Creating modal shift in active travel.

  • Promoting green spaces and nature recovery.

  • Supporting better physical and mental wellbeing.

  • Driving footfall to local highstreets.

  • Social Prescribing.

We digitise existing walking routes, curate new ones, launch co-branded walking challenges for schools, workplaces and social prescribers. We’re ready to work with you on bespoke walking initiatives like we do with Transport for Wales, TOG24, and Bristol City.

A selection of our case studies

After winning the Mayor of London’s Civic Innovation Challenge in partnership with Transport for London in 2018. We worked together to promote walking and active travel across the city. From designing and developing an interactive station-to-station walking map to digitising the Capital Ring and Jubilee Walkway in 8 weeks; we now continue to work together to help make London the world’s most walkable city.

Our partnership with Essex County Council now extends to over 80 walking routes across the county. Working economic development, Visit Essex and the sustainable transport team, we’ve launched a variety of initiatives to promote leisure walking and active travel. Most recently, we created a co-branded 6 week steps challenge to encourage residents to stomp at least 3,000 steps a day. The challenge processed nearly 100 million steps!

Together with Bristol City Council and TravelWest, we have launched well over 60 local walks in Bristol. Peak lockdown, we worked with Bristol Walk Festival to create a true community-based partnership where local groups and volunteers also created walking tours which meant Bristol Walk Festival routes can be enjoyed year-round. Highlight walks include a dive into Bristol’s Black History, Southmead Hospital’s wellbeing walks and tours showcasing striking street art.
